No shields? What happens if you get hit (although with that speed I doubt you get hit very often)

nice configs, one mistake of your turning and you will become destroyed if u not warp out of the sector.

ok good, if I ever see someone flying the "USS Killer" I'll be sure to charge my tractor beam. Then we'll see you dodge my shots (although with my tactical I'll probably still miss)

nothing skary about a fast sovereign...all u have to do is target the impuls engines and boom he will slow right down and then boom!!..u get the picture

I would cut the phasers myself and add some shields that way I could overchearge the quantoms and fire from a distance. almost no point in having such low level phasers because you will have to get too close to fire them. Trade them for a more powerful 360 phaser and add some shields even lvl 1 shields will work if you keep your distance and wioth that speed you should be able to.

You guys fail too see that in SFC3, ships without shields can usually work a damn sight better!
Give them enough impulse to go 100, enough thruster to get above a 2.5 turnrate and stick em on evasive manouvers with torps set to proximity and bam, as long as the player knows exactly what they are doing, they are in, hit and gone before you can get a decent shot off.
