 Entering battle
« Thread Started on Dec 26, 2005, 9:39am »

It's been asked if we would add a new rule regarding when two (or more) players enter battle. The suggestion was that each player have to announce "In" when they are finished loading and that no body is allowed to attack until all humans have announced in. Eudoxia and I discussed this.

It's been asked before and has not been something we want to implement. It adds another opportunity for players to have "issues". We still view it that way. However, we do believe that stating "In" is part of the ettiquette of playing this game, especially given the amount of lag/loadtime that some people experience. It's even part of the Warrior's Creed written many months ago by one of our own players. That creed still applies to this very day. If you've not read it, I suggest you do. It's good. Very good. Kudos and thanks to Darkwolf for drafting it.

That said, we will not be implementing an "In" rule on Alternate B. We hope and expect people to have honor and ettiquette when playing here.
